We are passionate about military history and historical themes. For the past decade, we have been creating games that utilise military equipment, ranging from repairs to simulations of tank battles and combat arms.
We can undertake programming and graphic design as well as create models, terrains and environments. We also handle technical aspects and optimisation. We work with engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine or Real Virtuality.
We support our games. We don’t give up and we’re working to achieve a good rating. We listen to the community. We’re gamers ourselves and we like it when games aren’t abandoned.

Robert and Michał met in 2013 while working at .fragOut Studio in Łódź.

After leaving .fragOut, Robert and Michał teamed up with PlayWay S.A. and began work on their first game, Tank Mechanic Simulator.

DeGenerals S.A. was founded alongside PlayWay S.A. The two developers share passion for military and historical games. Production is now in full swing.

Tank Mechanic Simulator was released on 20th February. Within three days, the production costs had been recouped and the game had achieved considerable commercial success.

As part of our preparations for our stock market flotation, we have expanded our team to 20 people and started work on new projects.

We continued to support our first game game and began work on the first paid expansion – the First Supply DLC

Our second game paid expansion was released – the Shermans DLC

We’ve put together a demo of Tank Squad and took part in SteamFest demo festival.

We parted our ways with our investor. We had to hand over the IP right of our first game Tank Mechanic Simulator. We were left with our second - unfinished project: Tank Squad.

We had to get the game ready for release straight away in order to maintain financial stability and avoid having to make the rest of the team redundant. The launch was difficult and unsuccessful.

Despite everything, we didn’t give up; we kept supporting the game. We went from 19/20% ‘Mostly Negative’ reviews to 70% ‘Mostly Positive’. We released a number of updates, including two major ones adding new campaigns, new missions and new tanks.

We have started work on the first expansion for Tank Squad – the Ponyri DLC. The expansion adds a procedurally generated campaign based on a battle map divided into sectors. On top of that, there is new content, such as heavy tank destroyer - Ferdiand.

We attended Gamescom this year; it was our first time there. We exhibited in the business zone at a large Polish stand organised by PARP. We’ve had a number of discussions, made plenty of new contacts and identified opportunities for potential new collaborations.
